A fleet vehicle stopped on the side of the road is not just a repair job. It is a missed booking, a worker standing by, a delayed delivery or a recovery bill that can quickly climb in remote country. Effective fleet downtime reduction starts well before a warning light appears. In Far North Queensland, it means maintaining vehicles for the conditions they actually face: tropical heat, wet-season water crossings, corrugated roads, heavy loads and long distances between reliable help.

For Cairns fleets, the aim is not to spend money replacing parts early for the sake of it. It is to find wear, heat damage and developing faults while repairs can be planned around the work schedule.
